Ryan & Alyssa’s Surprise Proposal | Sarah Morgan Photography

Ryan asked me if I would photograph his surprise engagement to his girlfriend Alyssa.  He had planned a beautiful evening with dinner at Jake’s and then a stroll along Del Mar Beach where his family had created a beautiful heart in the sand.  Ryan’s family was hiding behind the seawall in anticipation of seeing them walking toward us.  When Ryan and Alyssa walked toward the heart he convinced her that someone must have gotten married and to check out the heart in the sand.  He walked her into the heart where he got down on one knee and presented her with a beautiful opal engagement ring.  She was so surprised and happy, it brought tears to everyone’s eyes, even the strangers who had happened upon the scene.  I wish this beautiful couple the very best of everything life has to offer.
