A New England Girl in California

Many of you know I moved here from Maine and grew up in New Hampshire.  My family still lives in New England where, of course, I visit often.  My visits are usually around Christmas so it is cold and gray with all the plants, trees and landscape barren.  During my visit this month I was reminded of all the things I loved about New England during the spring and summer!  I decided to grab my dad’s camera and go on a photo scavenger hunt of all the things I love and miss about New Hampshire and Vermont.  I made a list of about 25 things and hit the road to get lost among the forest, small villages and dirt roads.  Here’s what I found during my adventure.  Click any image to see a larger view.
